Generally this can be caused during the shipping process but can be corrected. This continuous movement to the right is often a result of the metal plate on top of the carriage not properly engaging with the stop switch. First, place the carriage back onto the track. While you are checking the carriage, If you approach the cutter from the back side and look behind the carriage and the track the carriage travels on, you will see a small green box with a metal switch on it. The metal plate on top of the carriage has to contact with this switch in order to stop the carriage from moving too far. Below you will find a .pdf guide with instructions for proper carriage alignment. These will explain some common errors you may encounter which can lead to poor cuts, and how to correct the issues when they occur. Click here to download the PDF guide.
