Tracking vinyl as it feeds - Vinyl Skewing when cutting.

If you are having issues with tracking on your vinyl cutter. Here are a few things that you can try:

- If you are spooling your vinyl from a roll, make sure that you have enough slack in the roll for the job you are trying to do. If the vinyl is being pulled by the cutter directly from the roll, it can cause tension between the roll and the cutter and drag the vinyl to one side or the other.

- Double check and make sure that the vinyl is feeding straight into the machine. Normally you can test for this by putting your cutter into local/pause/offline mode after loading the vinyl and using the up and down keys to run the vinyl through the cutter. Check to see if the vinyl is drifting left or right. If it is, see if slightly rotating the vinyl fixes the issue.

-Check that the pinch rollers you are using are correctly making contact with the feed roller on the cutter. Please note: Our cutters from the Laserpoint 3 and TITAN series have smaller wheels for their feed rollers, and so the Pinch Rollers can only be placed in specific locations along the carriage rail.
